I live in the US and own properties in four different countries. My portfolio currently consists of my current home in the US, properties in my home country, Turkey, and now the UAE.
I originally purchased two apartments in Istanbul with Place Overseas. The apartments were off-plan and have been fully managed and rented out on my behalf since completion. Their team in Istanbul are always on hand to answer any questions that I have. I am happy with the returns I receive from Turkey.
As part of my diversification of assets, Place Overseas recommended investing in Dubai to me. After some discussion, we quickly decided it was the right course of action for me and I have recently purchased another off-plan apartment in Business Bay.
The property is not yet completed but I am happy with communication from the project and their team members in Dubai. If all goes well, I will certainly be returning to Dubai to add more to my portfolio. It’s an exciting market.
