14,000 new spaces for educations

The opening of 25 new institutions during the 2025 – 2026 academic year will also see more than 14,000 new spaces open for education in Dubai. The six schools and three universities will provide education for 11,700 people, while the 16 ECCs will provide care for up to 2,400 early learners.

The new institutions reinforce Dubai’s position as a hub for high-quality international-level education and offers families and expats moving to the UAE, more options when choosing where to educate their children.

A variety of curriculums offered

The new schools opening include five that offer UK curriculum and one that offers French curriculum. The UK schools include: GEMS School of Research and Innovation, Victory Heights Primary School, Dubai British School Mira, Dubai English Speaking School, and Al Fanar School. The French school is Lycee Francais International School.

According to information, the ECCs will be available in a variety of curriculums for families to choose. 11 of the centres are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) from the UK. Three of the centres will be based on the Creative Curriculum. Finally, one will be based on the Montessori approach and one will be based on the Maple Bear curriculum.

The three new higher education choices include the Institute of Management Ahmedabad, the American University, and Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences. These choices are bringing a wealth of experience with them from India, Beirut, and Saudi Arabia.
